Airfield Operations Specialist (seasonal)
Maintenance of airfield surfaces, including runways, taxiways, aprons and other surfaces.

- Training provided to complete Bird and Wildlife course
Key responsibilities
- Maintain airfield surfaces in snow and ice events
- Operate various pieces of heavy equipment for surface maintenance
- Keep airfield and surroundings clean
- Minor fence repair and sign installation
- Conduct inspections for hazards and report findings
- Support emergency response incidents as required
- Once training provided participate in Bird and Wildlife Management Program
- Light manual labour occasionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A-Z driver's licence
- High school diploma OR 5+ years' operational experience and snow removal operations
- Knowledge of safety practices
- Ability to work in a team environment while operating heavy equipment and maintain communication
- Ability to learn and use different computer software
- Strong communication skills in English
Assets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Bilingualism (English and French)
