Campus partners

Airport campus partners recruit for a variety of positions. 

Some companies are located in the terminal, some are based elsewhere on campus.

Airlines

Airlines recruit employees for various positions such as flight attendants, pilots, and customer service agents, as well as individuals who provide ground services, aircraft maintenance, administrative and professional services.

Car rentals

Car rental companies employ people to provide customer service and rental sales, and manage a fleet of vehicles at YOW. This may include car washing, detailing and shuttling.

Food services

Booster Juice, Paradies Lagardère and SSP provide food and beverage concessions in the terminal.

Gate Gourmet and Sky Café are located on the airfield and provide airline catering and provisioning services.

Ground handling services

Some airlines hire third-party companies to provide select services on their behalf, including loading and unloading aircraft baggage, marshalling planes to and from their gates and customer service.

Law enforcement

Each travel security checkpoint is managed by a different agency.

  • Pre-board security screening: managed by CATSA, sourced out to GARDA
  • Canada Customs/Immigration: CBSA
  • U.S. Customs: U.S. CBP

The Ottawa Police Service has a dedicated Airport Police Unit.

Allied Universal is the contracted security provider.

NAV Canada oversees air traffic throughout Canada and guides aircraft safely and efficiently through our airspace.

Customer service

These employers provide passenger services at YOW. 

A.S.P. Incorporated

Bilingual A.S.P. customer service representative provide direction, answer questions and assist passengers.

Currency exchange

Employees buy and sell currency to travellers.

Paradies Lagardère

This master concessionaire manages all retail stores at YOW.  Employees also receive merchandise, stock shelves and maintain their spaces.

Facilities and aircraft services

These employers help keep operations running behind the scenes.

Bee Clean

Employees clean surfaces including walls, floors, fixtures and window, respond to spills, empty and dispose of waste and recycling.

Impark

Parking lot attendants assist drivers with reservations, payment, and their vehicle (n an emergency, and monitor the lots.

Inland Technologies

Employees provide two services at YOW. They fill aircraft with fuel, and apply fluid to prevent/remove ice in the cold weather.
