The Ottawa International Airport Authority has significant land development opportunities, and is motivated to attract new tenants in order to enhance its own non-aeronautical revenue streams and contribute to the economic growth of Canada’s Capital Region.

Being located at the Ottawa Airport allows a developer or end user to benefit from all of the advantages of an international airport and its related groupings of businesses and occupancies such as airline and air service support, logistics, federal government facilities and laboratories, technology and manufacturing.

As the Airport’s land is under a Ground Lease from Transport Canada, the Airport Authority is unable to sell land parcels, instead entering into long-term leases. Land-lease rates are based on market valuations of comparable land throughout the city of Ottawa.
