As Canadians take to the skies to reconnect with family and friends and explore the beauty of Canada, the Ottawa International Airport Authority is thrilled to announce that a new airline has taken flight at YOW. PAL Airlines offers another choice for Ottawa-Gatineau travellers to reach the east coast with service to Moncton and Fredericton in New Brunswick, with both continuing to St. John’s in Newfoundland and Labrador.

“We are delighted to welcome PAL Airlines to YOW,” said Mark Laroche, President and CEO of the Ottawa International Airport Authority. “Including YOW in their offering recognizes the importance of Canada’s Capital Region and its links to the east coast. We look forward to being a part of PAL’s extensive Atlantic Canada network and reconnecting family and friends from both regions.”

“PAL Airlines is excited to start our service to Ottawa, connecting our extensive network in Eastern and Atlantic Canada to the National Capital Region,” said Calvin Ash, President of PAL Airlines. “We know from working closely with the communities we serve how strong the demand for travel to Ottawa is, and we look forward to working with the Ottawa International Airport and both of our national carrier interline partner airlines to facilitate connectivity and onward travel for our customers.”

Ottawa-Moncton-St. John’s service will operate Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday beginning July 29, 2021. Ottawa-Fredericton-St. John’s service will operate Monday, Wednesday, Friday, beginning July 30, 2021.

St. John’s-based PAL Airlines is an independent operator with decades-old roots in Canada’s east coast. Core business lines include passenger and cargo services. Their various interline agreements with other Canadian mainline carriers mean a seamless travel experience for their passengers connecting beyond PAL’s network.
