Jeff Moore, David Ross, Mark Laroche cut ribbon in front of Ross Video showcase

Together with the Ottawa International Airport Authority, Ross Video unveiled a large exhibit in the airport on Thursday, June 29th. The installation, which will be in place for three months, will be seen by many of the 5 million travellers who pass through the terminal every year, a number that is expected to spike in Canada’s 150th year.

The second installation in the Authority’s YOW Showcase program will feature a Technical Emmy Award presented to Ross in 2016 for its contribution to the international video production industry. The award confirmed Ross as a global leader in its highly specialized field, with products in more than 140 countries worldwide.

Ross CEO, David Ross, was joined for the ribbon cutting by Mark Laroche, President and CEO of the Ottawa International Airport Authority and Jeff Moore, Executive Vice-President of Ross Video.

David Ross says, “Airports are an integral part of Ross Video’s ability to do business around the world. When I return home and pick up my luggage, it will be nice to see an exhibit that celebrates not only what my company has done, but what is possible in Canada when we dream big.”

“With so many people travelling through our airport each and every day, the YOW Showcase is the perfect platform to celebrate what we do here in the Capital, on a global scale,” said Mark Laroche. “Ross Video is a shining example of Ottawa’s place as a world leader and we are proud of the role our airport plays in their success. I encourage our passengers and visitors to visit the display to learn why Ross is a game changer in broadcast technology around the world.”
