Cell Phone Lot Free short-term waiting area
Drivers can wait in the comfort of their vehicle for a passenger to arrive. The driver can then proceed to the terminal to pick up the passenger after receiving a mobile message that they are ready.

Electric Vehicle charging stations
Charging stations are available in the Parkade (P1). There currently are none in the Long-term/Overheight lot or the Cell Phone Lot.
Non-electric vehicles may be ticketed and/or towed if parked in a spot designated for an EV.
Locations in the Parkade:
- Universal 120V trickle charger with a 25-foot charging cord:
- two spots at the North end of Level 2, 3 and 4; and
- two spots in the BIZ area.
- 120V plugs
- Four spots at the South end of Level 4.
About vehicle charging at YOW
- There is no cost.
- There are no buttons or switches – just plug and charge.
- Dedicated EV spots cannot be reserved.
Paying for parking
When you reserve your parking online, you pay at that time.
If you are parking at YOW without reservation, you will pay for your parking when you leave the Airport.
Unless you have pre-paid, pay for your parking:
At one of the automated pay stations located in the:
- Terminal
Arrivals area - North or South end - Parkade (P1)
Level 1 or 3, North or South end - Long-term/Overheight lot (P4)
Near the exit
At any of the exit gates if you need help, press the intercom button.

Drop-off and pick-up
Active loading and unloading means immediate loading and unloading of persons and their belongings upon arrival at the curb.
The arrivals and departures curbs are reserved for active loading and unloading only.
Drop-off
Departing passengers should be dropped-off along the curb of the elevated roadway, on Level 3 of the terminal where the check-in counters are.
Pick-up
Arriving passengers can be picked up along the Arrivals curb (lower roadway).
- Drivers should wait in the Cell Phone Lot
- Our security team is vigilant and works to keep traffic moving
- There are numbered pillars along the curb. 1-3 are the ideal pickup points.
Unattended vehicles
Vehicles may not, under any circumstance, be left unattended along the Arrivals or Departures curb. Infractions will be issued and vehicles will be towed if left unattended.
Need help?
Employees at the parking office, located on level 1 of the Parkade (P1) are available to assist clients 24 hours a day.
Drop by or call 613-248-4304.
They will assist a driver who needs:
- help at the pay station or exit gate;
- a battery boost (at no charge); and
- their car dug out from the snow (at no charge).
