Dan Fortier

Vice President, Information Technology, and Chief Information Security Officer

Prior to joining the Airport Authority in May 2022, Dan Fortier amassed over 28 years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on transformational change management, people change management, and operational change management. He has held senior positions at various prestigious organizations, including the Standards Council of Canada, Defence Construction Canada, the Canadian Payments Association, Corel Corporation, and EDS Systemhouse.

In his current role, Dan is responsible for leading the Authority’s information security program and overseeing both the strategic and tactical systems and initiatives to support the organization's information systems requirements.

Dan graduated in Corrections/Law from Algonquin College, completed numerous IT management-related courses and seminars, and obtained a professional certificate in management skills from the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University.
