John Proctor

John Proctor served for more than twenty years in the Canadian and British Forces before joining the private sector. During his military service, John was an aviator in the Royal Navy and an Intelligence Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces.
His private sector experience spanned multiple roles, including Vice President, Global Security at CGI and most notably as President and CEO of Martello Technologies. At Martello, John oversaw corporate direction and strategy, and ensured the company’s position as a global industry leader. John led Martello’s debut as a public company on the TSXV in 2018.
John is also a very active member of the information and communication technology (ICT) community, supporting tech startups and sitting on the ICT advisory board for Government Affairs Canada.
He is a Board Member at Beauceron Security, as well as the Juno Beach Centre Association. John joined the Airport Authority’s Board of Directors in 2021, representing the Ottawa Board of Trade, and serves as the Chair of the Major Infrastructure and Environment Committee.
