Rob Turpin
Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Rob Turpin assumed his role at the Airport Authority in 2015, overseeing financial and accounting systems, policies, controls, and procedures. He plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s strategic direction and managing financial relationships with airlines, tenants, the investment banking community, and ratings agencies.
With over 25 years of global experience in senior roles across technology, non-profit, and hospitality sectors—including notable positions at IBM, Cognos, and Plan Canada International—Rob brings a wealth of expertise to the Airport Authority. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa and is a chartered accountant (CA), certified public accountant (CPA) in Illinois, and an Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designate. Rob also serves on the CUSO International Board of Directors.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys participating in various outdoor sports and activities and attending music events with his wife and three sons.
