Sam Michaud has nearly 38 years of experience in both military service and in the aerospace and defence industry. He has held senior and executive leadership positions for more than 25 years, both in and out of uniform. 

During his 26-year military career, Sam served as both a front-line maritime helicopter pilot and as a senior staff officer in National Defence Headquarters. In Ottawa, he held several staff positions where he was responsible for joint force development, defence policy development, and complex procurement management. 

Sam joined the Board of Directors in 2024 as an Invest Ottawa nominee and is a member of the Major Infrastructure and Environment Committee.
