Vanessa Pilotte

Vanessa Pilotte holds a Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Communications from the University of Ottawa as well as a degree in Advertising from La Cité. She began her career as a creative writer for radio and television stations and in creative agencies, developing content and campaigns for hundreds of clients.
Vanessa then spent 12 years with Brookfield Renewable overseeing public relations, governmental affairs, communications, ESG, as well as stakeholder relations in North America. She left her position of Vice President, Public Affairs and Sustainability in 2020.
Vanessa has since been the Chief Executive Director of the family office and Chair of the Foundation of the Choquette-Legault family.
Greatly involved in her community, she sits on the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Art Gallery and the Symphonic Orchestra of Gatineau. In 2023, the Chambre de commerce de Gatineau nominated her to the Airport Authority’s Board, and she serves on the Audit and Governance Committees.
Vanessa lives in Chelsea, Québec with her husband and their son and daughter.
