Pre-board screening

This timelapse video features the installation of the two escalators that will be part of the new access point to the Canada/International gate area currently being built as part of the YOW+ multi-year enhancement program. These escalators were hoisted into place over two nights, on January 7 and 8, 2020. Each escalator had been delivered to the Ottawa airport in two pieces and had been 'stitched' together prior to this event. As part of our YOW+ program, passengers will proceed through the new access point, which will also include a new staircase and elevator, to get from the Level 3 pre-board screening area to the gate area.
